Double-DVD Buddha by Nature now available for all

The release of the DVD on the New Year's Course in Hamburg was a great success. Lots of people bought it at the traveling shop and many centers took 20 or 30 copies back home to their sanghas.

Disc 1 - The Film

contains the film "Buddha by Nature  - Crossing Borders with 

Lama Ole Nydahl" with the choice of subtitles in nine different

languages (German, English, French, Russian, Polish, Italian,

Czech, Hungarian, Spanish). Duration about 80 min.



Disc 2 - The Extras

contains more than four hours of extras consisting of additional

interviews with the lama and  some of his closest students.


By courtesy of the german broadcaster WDR we were even

allowed to republish Ole's legendary appearance in the popular

TV-Show "Boulevard Bio" from the early 90s.


The purchase price for the center shops per double-dvd is 25 € plus shipping costs.  The sale price is 30 €.
The price for individual orders is generally 30 € plus shipping costs.

So the shops can make a little profit, too.

Please remember that this project has been financed exclusively on our own. It is Lama Ole's wish to use all revenues for covering the expenses until break even. With your help this might happen some day.

St. Petersburg, Moscow, Aachen, Brussels - 
DVD Release on New Year's Course

As the year comes to an end we've been showing "Buddha by Nature" to an enthusiastic audience in St.Petersburg as well as in Moscow on November, 21 and 24.

Last weekend we went to the very west of Germany and presented the film at the Buddhist Center in Aachen on Saturday, December 13. It's only a short drive to the belgian capital Brussels, where we were welcomed very warmly by an international sangha of Germans, Italians, Hungarian and yes, also some Belgians.  

We happily could inform all those students of Lama Ole as well as all you out here, that "Buddha by Nature - Crossing Borders with Lama Ole Nydahl" finally will be available on this New Year's course in Hamburg. You can purchase the double dvd at the shop with the choice of nine languages for the subtitles for the film itself on DVD 1. DVD 2 contains more than four hours of additional interviews with the lama as well as with his students and compagnions.

Like 450 other crazy kagyüs we took the wonderful chance and joined the Lama on his tour through Israel right after New Year's Day. Ole was amazing and inspiring and it was a miracle how the Israelian sangha managed everything in such a smooth, relaxed and pleasant way. 

We felt very honored to round up our visit to this extraordinary country by having been invited to show "Buddha by Nature" to some 30 people in the Tel Aviv center on January 10.  



From the beaches of Tel Aviv, where you can take a dip in the Mediterranean even in January, we go up as far north, as we've been never before with "Buddha by Nature". 
The annual Ngöndro Circus of the Aalborg sangha in northern denmark in a funky cabin in the woods coinsides with the celebration of Ole's first lecture in Aalborg some 25 years ago.

We've been asked presenting "Buddha by Nature" on this unique occasion and we gladly fulfil that wish.

Two weeks later Wuppertal will be on the schedule. It is very special for me since this diamond buddhisme center was the one where my late father used to go to after he had met Lama Ole in the early 80s. So we even bring my mum along.

Buddha by Nature - Herbsttour 

Übers Meer nach Kopenhagen. Da wurden wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen und BUDDHA BY NATURE begeisterte die buntgemischte Sangha aus aller Herren Länder. Am nächsten Tag führte uns Bea durch die Stadt zu den historischen Ole/Hannah-Plätzen. Ein ganz besonderes Sightseeing.

Hamburg. Endlich, nach verschiedenen Anläufen. Ein wenig Lampenfieber habe ich vor jeder Vorführung, in Hamburg ging der Puls noch ein bisschen höher. Und dann...was für ein wunderbarer Abend mit knapp 70 Zuschauern. Vielen Dank.

Kiel am Wahlsonntag, eine sehr familiäre Nachlese. Eine mutige buddhistische (Wohn)gemeinschaft, die enge Verbindung wirklich zu leben versucht. Wie sagt Caty: Privacy is a funny concept.

Den Auftakt macht Berlin. Ich freue mich sehr, dass BUDDHA BY NATURE nach der Kinopremiere im August letzten Jahres in Anwesenheit des Lamas und einer weiteren Vorführung in der Mila anlässlich der langen Nacht der Religionen nun auch im Zentrum Schöneberg gezeigt wird:

Leider kann ich zu dieser Vorführung nicht reisen, was ich sehr bedauere. 

Aber es werden noch andere Termin übers Jahr folgen, bei denen ich bestimmt anwesend sein werde.

So kristallisiert sich eine Tour im Herbst heraus, die in Heilbronn starten wird. Details folgen.

Dem Saarland wünsche ich zunächst mal viel Freude am kommenden Wochenende mit BUDDHA BY NATURE.


Kleiner Rückblick auf die Nordtour

Die Tour durch den Norden war eine einzige Freude. Zunächst waren wir im schönen Buxtehuder Zentrum, wo sich trotz bitterkalten Regens an die 40 Zuschauer versammelt haben. Tags drauf zeigten wir Buddha by Nature nach einem wunderbaren Vortrag von Gerd Boll beim Meditationskurs Mitte in Meppen im Emsland. Bevor die Dortmunder den Bayern unterlagen, war die wunderbar ausgebaute Scheune des Meditationszentrums in Langenhorn schon bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt. Alle im wilden Nordfriesland wollten den Film sehen. Rendsburg projizierte die Bilder im Party-Keller auf eine schneeweiße Wand, vor der man es sich auf Matratzen gemütlich machte. Lübeck schließlich, mit seiner Gompa hoch über der Backsteingotik, ermöglichte den krönenden Abschluss der kleinen Tour.

im Anschluss an die tolle Tour durch die Zentren im Südwesten ergab sich kurzfristig noch die Möglichkeit BUDDHA BY NATURE am 14. April der Wiener Sangha vorzuführen. 
Wow, was für ein Zentrum!  Wen immer es nach Felix Austria verschlägt, einen Besuch bei den Wiener Freunden sollte man nicht versäumen.
